Brad Clevenger, PhD
Dr. Brad Clevenger joined SolAero Technologies Corp. in June 2001 and held various leadership positions within Engineering, Operations and Business Development on his way to becoming President and CEO. Prior to joining SolAero, he was a Member of the Technical Staff at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. Dr. Clevenger holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida. He has published over 50 journal articles and holds four U.S. patents.
Mr. Lassiter has rejoined SolAero Technologies Corp. as the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lassiter has spent several years as an investment banker executing M&A and corporate financing transactions with Houlihan Lokey's Aerospace, Defense & Government (ADG) Group, and with Deutsche Bank's Semiconductor & Electronics Investment Banking practice in San Francisco, CA. Jeff began his career as a satellite systems engineer, working key roles across several MILSATCOM (Milstar, AEHF, MUOS, TSAT) and Intelligence Community Programs. During his time as a systems engineer, Mr. Lassiter worked at The Aerospace Corporation, Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, LinQuest Corporation, and The Boeing Company. Jeff has a BSEE from UCLA, an MSEE from USC, and an MBA from The Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
Navid Fatemi joined SolAero Technologies Corp. in 1998. Mr. Fatemi oversees the Business Development, Sales & Marketing and Proposal Management functions at SolAero. He has 28 years of experience in the Aerospace and Photovoltaics industries. Prior to joining SolAero, he was a partner at Essential Research, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio and was also involved with Photovoltaic Research & Development activities for space applications at NASA’s Glenn Research Center. He holds a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University, respectively.
Pravin Patel joined SolAero Technologies Corp. in 2006 and currently serves as the Vice President & Chief Engineer. In this position, Mr. Patel is responsible for R&D, Product Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering departments across the solar cell and solar panel product lines. His professional career began with SolAero Technologies as a Solar Cell Device & Materials Development Engineer and has progressed through various leadership roles as a Product Development Engineer, Engineering Manager of Solar Cell Product Development, and now Director of Engineering. Mr. Patel holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico, with a focus in Optoelectronic Materials and Devices.
Mr. Jerry Winton has rejoined SolAero Technologies Corp. as the Vice President of Operations. He previously held the role of General Manager and was instrumental in growing revenues and maximizing gross margins. Mr. Winton is a proven leader and has 20 years of experience in the private and public sectors. He is trained in Lean Manufacturing with a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and has a strong track record in developing high-performance teams and driving operational excellence. Prior to returning, Mr. Winton served as Chief Operating Officer at Optomec. He holds a dual B.B.A. from the University of New Mexico.
Chris Whelchel joined SolAero Technologies Corp. in 2017 and currently serves as the Vice President of Finance. In this role, Mr. Whelchel is responsible for all financial functions including accounting, financial planning and analysis, government compliance, audit, tax, and treasury. His career spans more than 17 years of varied experience in strategic financial management, working capital optimization, and lean processes. Prior to joining SolAero, Chris held roles at PNM Resources managing corporate forecasting and Honeywell Aerospace as Controller of the Bendix King business unit. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Arizona State University.
Mr. Klingler joined SolAero Technologies Corp. in September of 2019 and serves as the Vice President of Information Technology. As a creative technologist, Mr. Klingler is fluent in aerospace and power generation business strategies and experienced in implementing and managing digital technologies with Fortune 500 clients. Prior to joining SolAero Technologies, he spent 15 years with General Electric Corporation as a decisive Digital leader blending strategic IT vision, business needs, and user focused experiences.
